Blackheads are those tiny black bumps we often see on our nose, chin, and cheeks, among many places where they often form. They are caused by a blockage in hair follicles, and they can be the toughest facial dirt to get rid of. Many of us try to remove them permanently but to no avail. One way or another, they still find their way back to their spots and make a permanent home on our faces.

Nose strips are always available in drugstores and, more often than not, they have somewhat become a necessity in the household. But in fact, there are other equally effective ways to remove those stubborn blackheads in a few simple ways. Here’s the catch, you can do these steps in the comfort of your own home and all of the ingredients used in the mixes can be found in your own kitchen. How convenient, right?
We are all aware that the nose is the number one target of blackheads. And we also know that an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. It’s easier to prevent the growth of blackheads than eliminate them when they start to settle on your face. You can make your own mask that is especially designed to prevent blackheads. Make sure that your face is well cleaned before applying the mask and do this about once a week to prevent your pores from clogging and blackheads from forming.
For the mask, you will need one tablespoon of flour, one teaspoon of warm water, and half a teaspoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients together until you arrive with a sticky consistency. If the mixture is too thick, add water as needed. Take a post-it note and cut it into three strips. Use the mask as a glue and paste the strips on your nose, chin, and wherever you think you might get blackheads. Leave the strips on your face for 10 minutes, after which remove them and rinse your face with warm water.
